Prior Lake, MN

The CIty of Prior Lake identified Strategic Objectives and Key Characteristics plus 28 specific initiatives for their 2030 Vision and Strategic Plan.  The Strategy Matrix clearly identified the priorities for these initiatives, for both the short term and long term, and identified the cross impact of the initiatives on all their Strategic Objectives.

Optimist International

Optimist International used the Strategy Matrix as a key component of their strategic planning — identifying priorities for their major goals in “less board meeting time” than we have ever needed to devote to this activity.”

Oregon School District – Wisconsin

The Oregon School District conducted a day long environmental scanning activity involving more than 60 participants from the school district, including parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators.  Tied to four Strategic Objectives, the Strategy Matrix identified the impact of 68 initiatives, trends, events, and policies for a short term view of 3 years and a long term impact of 13 years.

Group Home

The Counseling Director of a Teen Group Home used the Strategy Matrix to evaluate the possible impact of a key policy change, a major trend (significant increase in the use of a particular drug), a major national event, and an innovation in counseling methodology to evaluate the impact these might have the the organization’s strategic objectives.
